Gale Harold…Known to avid Queer As Folk fans as Brian Kinney, he is my ultimate in every way shape and form. If you’ve never read anything I’ve posted then you don’t know that Brian Kinney is one of my heroes. Yes, I know he’s a character on a show that is no longer new, but that doesn’t matter to me. His confidence and grab life by the balls (figuratively and physically) attitude are what I have loved about him from the start.
So you can imagine how excited I was to meet him after years of waiting…He did a play for gay marriage in LA and I had to go. Surprisingly I didn’t cry, but I acted like I was a shy ass 12 year old at their first boy/girl dance. But I met him and that was the highlight of my 2011 and life.

Day Six: Top Five Things That Happened To You This Past Year
1. My mommy living…seriously, you know that no one that you come into contact with, or that person who avoids your stares in the mirror, will live forever. But the second reality holds you down like a bully ready to spit directly in your face…you really can’t comprehend it. I know I may go before her, or she could die as I type this, but seeing it, seeing her laying in a hospital bed with tube appendages, I couldn’t handle. I’m not religious by any means, but thank whoever the fuck is in charge that she lived to see another day…
2. Speaking of parents…This May marked a whole year I’ve gone without having to have my dad bail me out when it comes to rent. This is a big deal for someone who never thought they’d live on their own…I still would give anything to be a kid again…
3. Back when I was a kid, about 9 or 10…South Park entered the world and my life. It may be a crude animated world to most, but to me it’s hilarious and at the same time, a smart comedy. Yes, some episodes aren’t as great, but with love you have to take the good with the bad. So in 2011 I finally got my fav South Park fellow inked on me…Kyle :) If you watch, that’s me. No one ever really listens eventhough he’s the voice of reason…one day people will learn that just because you don’t drive, doesn’t mean you’re incapable of knowing where things are…
4. If you don’t know me, then you don’t know I care more about 99% of TV characters then real people. And what happened this year? I got to meet my favorite TV character, ever..Gale Harold aka in my heart as Brian Kinney…still makes my heart smile :)
5. Last but not least…um, let’s go with my bday weekend going swimmingly. Vegas with my best pals and oogling my fat, lesbian GF…Can every weekend be that grand?
